St Cuthberts Care has, for over 60 years, provided help and support to the region's most vulnerable and needy.
Our work spans the length and breadth of the region, from Tynedale in the west to Tyneside in the east, and from Berwick in the north to Middlesbrough in the south. We operate over 40 projects, offering much needed help, support and care to those most disadvantaged in society.
As society and its problems become more complex,so must our responses. We offer specialised and discreet care and assistance to families and children, people with disabilities and older people who need care.
We choose to work in areas where there is great risk. All of our staff are dedicated and committed to facing these challenges head on, enabling and empowering our service users to achieve positive outcomes in their lives.
Our enthusiasm, determination and dynamism to continually develop and embrace new ideas and to consistently challenge social injustice is unwavering and is reflected in our Statement of Purpose: A charity working for the common good by enabling people to develop to their personal potential.
