St Cuthberts Care is committed to enabling people with disabilities to live a life of their choice and to enable them to develop to their fullest potential.
Adults with learning disabilities deserve the same from life as the rest of us: to be valued as individuals with the individual freedoms and choices that are inherent in any modern democracy. We value each of our service users as individuals and provide them with the respect with which they deserve to be treated.
Our residential homes across the region support and encourage those people who need help with everyday tasks and need round-the-clock care.
Working with other professionals, we ensure that a person-centred approach is delivered in a sensitive and appropriate manner. We carefully tailor a support plan for each individual that offers them the right level of support for their needs, ambitions and aspirations and helps them to develop the various life skills they will need to maintain their independence and gain confidence as a full and equal member of the community.
Bailiffgate is a nine bed residential home, situated in the heart of Alnwick, within walking distance of local shops and close to all local amenities. It is a large, three-storey stone built terraced house, which has a dovecote and a pleasant walled garden at the rear where service users can sit and enjoy outdoor meals in the summer.
